I have particular experience in Domestic abuse, Anxiety, Depression, Childhood abuse, bereavement and upsetting or traumatic experiences – whether this be something that happened recently or a long time ago. Together we can work with any difficult emotions that these experiences may have created. Whether you are experiencing guilt, sadness, grief, confusion, anger or shame I can support you to understand and accept how these experiences may have effected you and support you to move forward.
I am an integrative therapist and so will use various counselling approaches when working together to best suit your individual needs. Although mainly person-centred in my approach, I will often draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic and Gestalt models to support me in my work.
